Job Summary: The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that all team members deliver outstanding customer service while achieving business objectives. This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate staff, manage inventory, and drive sales in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Management: Direct day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies. - - Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop employees to foster a high-performance team that excels in customer service. - - Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that customer inquiries and issues are addressed promptly, creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience. - - Sales and Growth: Analyze sales performance, implement promotional strategies, and work towards meeting or exceeding store targets. - - Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and manage ordering processes to minimize stock-outs. - - Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, control costs, and prepare reports on sales activities and operational metrics. - - Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff. - - High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is a plus. - - At least 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in convenience or grocery stores. - - Proven leadership and team management skills. - - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities. - - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions. - - Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software. - - Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. - Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. - - Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion. - - Able to operate store equipment safely, including registers and safety devices. -
