We are currently seeking a Materials Warehouse Journeyperson to support operations at a heavy industrial site in Kamloops, BC. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory control in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities - Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies - - Pick, pack, and issue materials to site operations and maintenance teams - - Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts - - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently - - Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards - - Support shipping/receiving functions including documentation and tracking - - Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and site teams to ensure material availability - - Follow all site safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly - - Previous warehouse or industrial materials handling experience (mining or heavy industry preferred). - - Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). - - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - - Ability to work in a safety-sensitive, fast-paced environment. - - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - - Basic computer skills for inventory systems and tracking. - - Journeyperson certification or Parts Technician Red Seal. - Nice to Have - Experience working on mining or remote industrial sites. - - Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory systems. - - Health and Dental Benefits. - - Company Pension Matching. - We appreciate all applicants' interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
