Cobol Programmer Core Insurance System

Develop and maintain COBOL programs on the L400/GASIA core insurance system Work with DB2 and IBM WebSphere MQ for integration and data management Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization Collaborate with business teams to understand insurance product requirements COBOL Developer (Core Insurance System – L400/GASIA) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 3–5 years of experience in COBOL development Proficiency in COBOL (syntax, data structures, file handling, program logic) Strong understanding of core insurance products, processes, and terminology Experience with mainframe systems (IBM i) and relevant software (DB2, IBM WebSphere MQ) Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., DB2) and database concepts Proficiency in debugging and problem-solving Must have development experience in L400/GASIA core system
