Database Engineer

We are currently looking for a Database Engineer to manage, maintain, and support our database systems, with a strong focus on database migration. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain database systems to ensure performance, availability, and security. Plan and execute database migration activities, including data transfer, validation, and system cutover. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability. Perform database backup, recovery, and routine maintenance tasks. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all database environments. Work closely with developers and infrastructure teams during system implementation and deployment. Document database configurations, migration processes, and technical procedures. Provide technical support and recommendations for database optimization and improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role. Proven experience in database migration, upgrade, or data consolidation projects. Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. Good understanding of database backup, recovery, and performance tuning. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Have decent English. Willing to work full WFO in Jakarta.
