As an Appraisal Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in the final stages of the loan process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines. We’re looking for detail-oriented, proactive professionals who excel in fast-paced environments, and excellent communication skills.
What You’ll Do:
Appraisal Order Management:
- Understand, manage, and prioritize appraisal orders to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.

- Identify qualified vendors and ensure appraisals are ordered within required time frames.

- Coordinate all aspects of the appraisal life cycle, from initiation to completion.

Quality Control & Process Oversight:
- Maintain quality control of the appraisal ordering and reporting processes.

- Maintain a centralized report to track appraisal assignments from order through completion.

Vendor & Relationship Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and internal staff to support seamless operations.

- Follow up with vendors and direct appraisers to ensure timely updates and results.

- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure prompt and accurate appraiser payments.

Cross-Functional Communication:
- Effectively communicate with Underwriting, Closing, Sales, and Capital Markets teams to support appraisal-related tasks.

- Recommend solutions and troubleshoot issues related to appraisal orders.

Customer Service & Continuous Learning:
- Provide excellent customer service through proactive support and timely responses.

- Stay informed on evolving appraisal standards and processes and share knowledge with the team.

The total compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
