Job Description
The Institutional Portfolio Services Team is responsible for supporting and overseeing operations for Neuberger’s Fixed Income Insurance business. The individual will work closely with internal teams (Operations, Technology, and Front Office) as well as with external vendors (Clearwater and Blackrock). They will also help to oversee the quality of the data based upon several data validation checks that are run daily.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Instruct Clearwater on new account opening setups

- Instruct posting of asset transfers in Clearwater and validate accuracy post completion

- Oversee daily positions reconciliation report which highlights differences between Clearwater, Aladdin, and Custody; reach out to respective teams at NB & Clearwater to resolve differences

- Drive weekly joint meetings between Neuberger and Clearwater, focusing on the agenda items

- Partner with NB Technology to develop a solution to validate data loads from Clearwater to Aladdin

- Partner with Clearwater to develop a solution to ensure Aladdin data is being ingested correctly

- In cases where our Client is also utilizing Clearwater for their own accounting books, work with the Clearwater teams to ensure both instances are in line, where expected.

- For bank loans, work with Clearwater and NB Bank Loan Team to ensure that the WSO Operating Model (i.e. WSO to CW technology feed) is working as expected across both instances, if applicable

- For bank loans, work with Clearwater and NB Bank Loan Team to ensure that cash and position breaks are aligned between Clearwater and Aladdin

- Work with Clearwater to track, review, and resolve issues highlighted by PM Teams

- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to ensure consistency and operational resilience

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting preferred) or equivalent experience.

- 5+ years in financial services operations, preferably in Fixed Income

- Knowledge of bank loans is required

- Strong analytical and organizational skills; adept at creating and maintaining documentation and workflows.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)

- Effective communicator, team player, and self-starter
-
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

- Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable driving change and process improvements via Gen AI

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
