APAC GL accountant (Full set with Xero experience)

Job Title: Accountant (Full Set | APAC | Xero) Location: Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time About Us We’re a fast-growing startup expanding across APAC. As we scale, we’re looking for a hands-on Accountant who is excited to grow with the business and build strong financial foundations across multiple entities and markets. About the Role This is not a “just bookkeeping” role. You’ll be owning the full set of accounts across multiple APAC entities (Singapore and Australia), working closely with leadership, and helping us scale our finance operations. What You’ll Do Own full set accounting for multiple APAC entities Manage billing, collections, vendor payments, and cash flow tracking Perform monthly closings, reconciliations, and ensure accurate reporting Handle multi-currency transactions and FX adjustments Maintain and optimize accounting records in Xero Support management reporting and provide actionable insights Work with external accountants, auditors, and tax agents across jurisdictions Improve finance processes, controls, and reporting workflows as we scale Support ad-hoc finance and operational projects What We’re Looking For 3–5 years of full set accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong hands-on experience with Xero Experience working with multi-entity and multi-currency setups Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a fast-paced startup environment Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset Good Excel skills and ability to work with data Clear communicator who can work with cross-functional teams Self-starter who takes ownership and gets things done Nice to Have Experience in a startup, SaaS, or high-growth company Exposure to regional (APAC) accounting and compliance (Singapore and Australia preferably) Experience with financial modelling or process automation Why Join Us?
