Job Description
Hi, soon-to-be brand-builder,
Ever dreamt of joining a team on a mission to help overwhelmed professionals win at work and flourish in the rest of their life?
At Full Focus, we believe that when capable people stop trying to do it all and start focusing on what actually matters, everything changes. Families get more present dinners. Leaders learn to rest again. People rediscover what "enough" actually feels like. The guilt that's been following them everywhere finally quiets. The ripple effect is bigger than any of us can measure.
That's what Full Focus exists to do.
We are a human-centric coaching company. In a dizzying and disorienting world, we help overwhelmed midlife professionals get anchored, clear, and focused on what really matters, so they can win at work and flourish in life.
No more pretending that professional success has to cost you your health, your relationships, or your sense of self.
And we're looking for someone extraordinary. A unicorn of sorts. A rare combination of strategist, creator, and craftsperson who wants to play a pivotal role in bringing this work to the people who need it most.
Why this role matters
Most people's first impression of Full Focus happens on Instagram.
Before they buy our best-selling, award winning planner. Before they listen to a podcast episode. Before they take the assessment, click the ad, or open the email. They land on our profile and decide, in about ten seconds, whether this brand is for them.
Think of our social presence as our front porch. The place where someone who's been searching for a different way to live walks up, looks around, and decides whether to step inside or keep scrolling.
We want them to step inside. Every time.
That's what this role is about.
What if it could be different?
What if our feed was the place a high-capacity, stretched-thin professional finally exhaled?
What if a reel reached someone running on fumes and gave her permission to put down what was never hers to carry?
What if a carousel quieted the guilt for a woman who's spent years feeling like she's failing at everything because she's trying to do everything?
What if our grid, once she landed on it, felt like the first thing in months that didn't ask her to do more, try harder, or hustle smarter, but instead said: what's actually yours?
That's the future we're building. We're looking for the person to build it with us.
Why we need you
Every month, hundreds of thousands of people interact with Full Focus through the best-selling Full Focus Planner, our Double Win Coaching program, our two podcasts, and a body of work that's helped a generation of professionals live and lead more intentionally. The reach is real. The platform is real. The momentum is real.
What we want now is a social presence that fully reflects what Full Focus is and attracts more of the right people to our movement. We need a forward-thinking, strategic creator to build it.
As our Social Media Manager, you'll come alongside our marketing team to make sure that someone's first impression of our brand is absolutely killer. You'll own our entire social presence (strategy, creation, and execution) and shape the front porch where our future customers, fans, and movement-joiners arrive.
What you'll do
In this role, you will:
- Own and execute our social media strategy across platforms, with Instagram as the primary channel and the center of gravity.
-
- Create content yourself (reels, carousels, stories, static posts, and ManyChat funnels) with strong taste, brand cohesion and platform-native instincts, working under the oversight of our Creative Director.
-
- Capture content directly with Megan, our CEO, and other talent, turning unscripted moments and intentional shoots into scroll-stopping social.
-
- Take a single piece of source content (a podcast episode, a keynote, a long-form post, a coaching framework) and turn it into a week's worth of beautifully redeployed assets across formats. You know how to make one moment travel.
-
- Hold the brand aesthetic across every touchpoint. Every font, color, layout, and motion choice in service of the brand we're building.
-
- Engage with our private Facebook community of 32,000+ Full Focus Planner users. Get to know them, surface their real stories, and turn what's happening there into content that resonates. Over time, you'll build out a real engagement strategy for this community. It's one of our most underutilized assets, and we're excited to see what you'll do with it.
-
- Grow engagement, follower count, and email list, and convert that audience into raving fans and customers.
-
- Bring data and instinct in equal measure, telling us what's working, what's not, and what we should do more of.
-
Who you are
- You're a senior-level operator. You've owned full social presences end-to-end at brands with real stakes, and you can point to specific outcomes you've driven. This is not your first rodeo, and the autonomy and craft this role demands assumes years of doing this work at a high level.
-
- You're a unicorn. Strategist and creator. You think at the altitude of brand positioning and execute at the level of a perfectly timed caption.
-
- You've worked with thought leaders or personality-driven brands and you understand how that world works. You know how to build content around a person's voice without making it look like a personal account, and you know how to take one moment of source material and turn it into ten things.
-
- You have a trained eye for design and aesthetics. You notice when a font is slightly off, when a color feels inconsistent, when a layout doesn't breathe right, and you fix it before anyone asks.
-
- You're at home behind the camera, on the editing timeline, and inside the design file. You make things. You don't just direct them.
-
- You stay genuinely current on social media trends, algorithm shifts, and platform best practices. Staying sharp on this is part of how you operate.
-
- You're a natural at community engagement. You actually like talking to customers, you know how to draw out their stories, and you understand that an engaged community is one of the most valuable things a brand can have.
-
- You're self-directed and entrepreneurial. You don't need a manager checking in on every move.
-
- You connect deeply with the Full Focus mission. You don't just want to sell the Double Win. You want to live it.
-
- You read this and felt something shift. Not "this is a good company," but "this is the brand I've been waiting to work for."
-
Why this matters
Every reel that lands isn't just engagement:
- It's a leader who finally stops apologizing for taking the weekend off.
-
- It's a family that gets a more present version of mom or dad.
-
- It's a midlife professional, running on fumes, finding out there's another way.
-
- It's someone rediscovering what "enough" actually feels like.
-
You'll be on the front lines of a movement to restore peace, purpose, and meaningful work to a world that desperately needs it.
Who you'll work with
You'll report directly to our Creative Director. She'll be your closest creative partner. Her job is to keep our brand looking and feeling like itself across everything we make, and she's so excited to have you on the team.
You'll also work closely with our broader marketing team. That includes our Chief Marketing Officer, who actually started her career at Full Focus eight years ago doing this exact job. You'll have a senior leader in your corner who really gets what this work is like day to day. You'll also partner regularly with our Paid Media Buyer, since a lot of what you create will end up running as paid ads, too. Keeping our organic and paid creative tightly aligned is something we do well, and you'll play a big part in keeping it that way.
And you'll work hand-in-hand with our CEO and best-selling author. She's one of the most respected voices in leadership and personal development today, and you'll capture content with her that turns her perspective into social that resonates.
We're a small but mighty team of around 20 people with the reach and reputation of a company many times our size. Values-aligned, low-ego, and mission-driven, and we genuinely love the people we get to do this work with.
What you can expect
Real creative ownership. You'll be shaping the brand creative for one of the most respected names in personal and professional development. The autonomy and trust you've been wishing for, you'll have it here.
A team that practices what it preaches. Core hours are M-F from 9am-3pm CT with flexibility baked in. Two full weeks of company-wide time-off, plus four discretionary weeks of PTO that people actually take. Paid parental leave that people actually use. We don't get to teach the Double Win without living it ourselves, and we want it for you, not just our customers. This is your chance to live the philosophy you'll be helping millions of others discover.
A career home. This is a full-time, salaried role with the kind of benefits and culture that make people stay. We're not looking for someone to plug a gap. We're looking for someone to put down roots, do the best work of their career, and grow alongside a brand they believe in.
