PMO Manager

Job summary Leads and governs enterprise-wide project management standards, portfolio oversight, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement while enabling strategic alignment, effective resource allocation, and strong support for project managers and stakeholders. Job description Develop and enforce project management standards, policies, and methodologies across departments. Ensure alignment of all projects and programs with the organization’s strategic goals. Monitor project performance using KPIs and dashboards; identify risks and recommend corrective actions. Facilitate project portfolio management, including project selection, prioritization, and resource allocation. Lead governance activities—such as stage gate reviews, audits, and compliance checks. Coach and support project managers and team leads to ensure successful project delivery. Drive continuous improvement by collecting lessons learned and updating best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders, department heads, and executive leadership to provide visibility and insights on project status. Organize training sessions and support career development initiatives within the PMO team. Job qualifications Strong understanding of project management frameworks à 5+ years in PMO/Portfolio/Program/Project roles across Waterfall and Agile/Hybrid in large/complex environments. Intermediate+ proficiency with PPM tools (e.g., Planview/Clarity/ServiceNow PPM/Jira/ADO), Power BI/advanced Excel (pivot, power query, basic DAX) for dashboards/reporting. Exceptional analytics, communication, leadership, stakeholder management and change management initiatives skills.
