Senior Accountant

ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea, OnDemandChina, and OnDemandViet. It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.  We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to support our month-end close process, financial reporting, and audit preparation across a multi-entity structure. This role works directly with the Head of Finance and requires someone who is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and eager to grow. Roles & Responsibilities - Support full month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations across multiple legal entities - - Assist in preparation of consolidated and entity-level financial statements in accordance with US GAAP - - Support intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reconciliations across all entities - - Assist with borrowing base certificate preparation and daily bank reconciliations - - Support withholding tax calculations, payroll reconciliation, and royalty/revenue share reporting - - Assist in audit preparation — prepare workpapers and respond to PBC requests - - Support accounts receivable and accounts payable operations as needed - - Assist with CIP tracking and fixed asset schedules - - Support NetSuite administration including saved searches and reporting - - 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience - - Multi-entity or consolidation experience preferred - - Audit support experience preferred - - Strong knowledge of US GAAP - - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - - NetSuite experience strongly preferred - - CPA or CPA candidate preferred - - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills - - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently - - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - - Bilingual in Korean preferred - - Ability to work in person Monday through Thursday - Perks & Benefits - Unlimited paid time off - - Health, vision, dental, and life insurance covered for employees and partial coverage for eligible dependents - - Paid sick days and holidays - - 401(k) - - Catered lunch every day with varying local cuisines and a kitchen stocked with drinks and snacks - - Free access to various streaming media applications - - Corporate parties, team bonding events, and much more! - ODK Media, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
