As a CG Supervisor at Bardel, you are accountable for the creative and technical execution of CG animation production. You will partner closely with Directors, Production, and Department Supervisors and Leads to ensure consistency in style, quality, and delivery.

-
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and support CG artists, Supervisors and Leads
-
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
-
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to support individual and team growth
-

-
- Strong background in animation pipelines
-
- Deep understanding of CG production workflows, tools, and pipeline architecture
-
Technical Proficiency
- Strong working knowledge of one or more industry-standard DCCs (e.g. Maya, Houdini, Blender)
-
- Experience in one or more key CG domains such as assets, simulation, LRC; depth in one area plus strong cross-department understanding
-
- Familiarity with adjacent workflows such as compositing (e.g., Nuke) and/or Surfacing (e.g., Mari)
-
Hands-On Capability
- Demonstrated ability to work directly in DCCs to troubleshoot, prototype, and solve problems
-
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn and become functional in new tools as required
-
- Expectation to independently upskill (e.g., through tutorials, testing, and experimentation) to support production needs
-
Communication & Leadership
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
-
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management abilities
-
- Proven ability to lead teams, align cross-functional groups, and drive clarity in production environments
-
What Success Looks Like
- Teams are unblocked quickly because you can both guide and directly solve problems
-
- Pipelines run efficiently and evolve throughout production
