Responsibilities:
● Lead the end-to-end alignment and operating rhythm for all Ascend Money initiatives. Ensure that all obstacles are effectively communicated, managed, and visible to stakeholders.
● Drive comprehensive program management to identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues across all areas, including Business, Product, Technology, and Operations. Develop and implement effective contingency plans.
● Oversee the creation and maintenance of project dashboards, reporting on the health, status, and quality of all programs and projects.
● Deeply understand the Ascend Money's business goals and end-to-end processes to proactively identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Challenge business assumptions and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) definitions to ensure strategic alignment and optimal outcomes.
● Initiate and lead projects or process improvements to close identified gaps. Form and direct project teams to achieve key business objectives.
● Ensure compliance with the agreed-upon Product Delivery Framework. Drive the maturity of all teams, fostering discipline in their practices and promoting continuous improvement based on team behavior and performance.
● Drive productivity and operational excellence at scale by initiating and implementing innovative ideas across the organization and cross-functional domains, while continuously improving internal team efficiency.
● Foster a culture of accountability, coaching, and motivation across all functional groups. Drive a strong sense of urgency and a results-oriented mindset.
● Build, mentor, and coach high-performing teams to enhance capability, engagement, and long-term success.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's Degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
● At least 8 years of proven experience in program or project management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
● Experience in the financial technology (FinTech) or banking sector, specifically with Virtual Banking, Payments, or e-Commerce.
● Strong understanding of hardware/software delivery projects, including both traditional and agile methodologies. PMP or other project management certifications are a significant plus.
● Demonstrate experience in vendor and contract management.
● Demonstrate strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills to effectively manage disagreements and foster constructive collaboration within and across teams
● Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage complexity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
