We go above and beyond to remove stress in all interactions and make things a little easier for all we serve.  The EV Fleet Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of TransWest’s growing fleet of electric, hybrid, and traditional vehicles. This position is responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance, supporting EV charging infrastructure, and working closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure vehicles remain service-ready.   Compensation:   - $33.00-37.00/ hour  - - Quarterly tool allowance  -  Benefits:  - Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance  - - 401k with matching  - - Holiday pay  - - Company provided uniforms with in-house weekly uniform cleaning service  - - Paid Time Off up to 80 hours per year with increasing amounts based on your years of service    - Responsibilities:  Fleet Maintenance Coordination  - Perform regular safety and condition inspections on all fleet vehicles to ensure mechanical quality and professional appearance.  - - Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs with outsourced service providers and dealer networks.  - - Schedule and transport vehicles to service providers for routine maintenance and repairs, including coordinating drop-offs and pick-ups.  - - Track and document all third-party maintenance activities including inspections, repairs, parts usage, and service records.  - - Process and track invoices for all third-party fleet maintenance services.  - - Complete assigned work orders and service entries accurately and in a timely manner.  - - Respond to and resolve immediate fleet concerns to minimize road calls and maintain operational safety.  - Electric Vehicle Support & Electrification  - Assist with monitoring the performance and readiness of electric and hybrid vehicles within the fleet.  - - Coordinate with internal Fleet and Facilities teams to support the operation and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure.  - - Support troubleshooting coordination for EV charging equipment and escalate issues with vendors or service partners as needed.  - - Monitor EV charging schedules and ensure vehicles are properly charged and ready for daily operations.  - - Track and report EV fleet performance data to support fleet electrification initiatives.  - - Stay current on emerging EV technologies and participate in relevant training.  -  Fleet Technology & Operational Support  - Support fleet technology systems including telematics, Wi-Fi units, onboard tablets, and fleet management software.  - - Develop and implement EV Technician safety and training programs.  - - Work with onsite and offsite training needs for EV Fleet support.  - - Ensure vehicles remain DOT compliant, safe, clean, and service-ready.  - - Collaborate with Fleet Management and Operations teams to anticipate service needs and optimize fleet readiness.  - - Maintain accurate documentation in fleet management systems such as Fleetio.  - - Perform additional duties as assigned.  -  Requirements:  - Must be at least 21 years of age  - - Class A or B Commercial Driver's License preferred or willing to obtain through company sponsored training program within 6 months of hire  - - 1+ years of maintenance experience working with a variety of vehicles; experience with transit buses and motor coaches strongly preferred  - - Experience working with electric or hybrid vehicles  - - Familiarity with EV charging systems and infrastructure  - - High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical school training preferred  - - Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record  - - Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test  - - Able to communicate proficiently in English  - - Ability to be flexible in schedule to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours  - - Must be willing to work in outside environments, which may include inclement weather  - TransWest Culture: Come join our close-knit team.
