Job Description
KPS Alarms is seeking a professional and dependable Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone communication skills, strong de-escalation abilities, accurate typing skills, and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a key role in supporting customers, resolving concerns, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Answer inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive attitude
De-escalate customer concerns and resolve issues calmly and effectively
Accurately document customer interactions and account activity
Manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously while on active calls
Communicate clearly with customers regarding services, scheduling, and account information
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Follow company procedures and customer service standards
Collaborate with team members and management to improve customer experienc
Experience handling high call volumes
Professional phone etiquette
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Basic understanding of alarm systems, smart home devices, and security cameras is required.
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Proven ability to remain calm and professional during difficult conversations
Excellent de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
Accurate typing and data entry skills
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
Comfortable using multiple computer programs and web-based platforms
Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
Reliable internet connection with back up connection and back up power source is required.
