The Opportunity: We’re looking to fill an opening for a Bilingual Consultant, Learning & Development to join our Learning & Development team for a 3-month contract. Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning & Development, the Bilingual Consultant, Learning & Development will be responsible for a project to customize and producing digital learning experiences (primarily eLearning) including a cycle of updates, development of the duplicating French content, review cycles with our client, and release. You create effective, accessible digital learning assets using modern instructional design approaches with a strong emphasis on high-quality interactive modules. You proactively encourage collaboration, build trust and inclusion, and work to establish effective relationships both inside and outside of the organization - What your day looks like: - Apply adult learning and UX principles to design and build eLearning modules (storyboards, scripts, interactions, knowledge checks) and supporting digital assets (job aids, videos, simulations), ensuring a consistent learner experience across English and French - - Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to confirm learning goals and performance outcomes, then manage review cycles and iterations (SME, legal/compliance where needed), publishing content and tracking updates/versions - - Ensure quality and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), including bilingual (EN/FR) localization readiness, audio/script alignment, functional testing across devices/browsers - - Other duties as requested - Your experience and skills: - 5 years of consistent, hands-on experience - - Adult Education certification/accreditation or an equivalent post-secondary education is preferred but not required - - High-level communication and consulting skills - - Advanced skills in the following: - - eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline/Rise, Captivate, etc.) - - Content creation tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, video/audio creation and editing) for microlearning - - Accessibility and QA practices (WCAG awareness, functional testing, EN/FR localization checks) - - Strong graphic design for learning (layout, typography, basic illustration/iconography, brand alignment) - - Project management skills to manage stakeholder feedback and meet deadlines - - Fluency (written and spoken) in English and French is required to effectively communicate and develop learning assets with partners, clients, and colleagues across Canada - Why Aviso?
