IT Project Manager (Applications | Up to $8,000 SGD)

Job Title: IT Project Manager (Applications) – Senior / Principal Engineer Level Salary: Up to SGD $8,000/month Contract Duration: 1 Year Location: Singapore About the Role We are looking for a highly driven and experienced IT Project Manager to lead and support large-scale IT application project delivery within a structured, high-impact environment. This role is heavily focused on vendor management and end-to-end project execution , ensuring systems are delivered on time, perform reliably, and continuously improve. Key Responsibilities Vendor Management (Core Focus – ~70%) Lead and manage system integrators and external vendors (e.g., major SI firms) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery Drive accountability, performance tracking, and issue resolution across vendors Handle negotiations, delivery tracking, and escalation management Project Delivery & Coordination Support end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT application projects (not infrastructure) Coordinate across technical teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional units Ensure alignment of timelines, deliverables, and expectations System & Operations Management Oversee system implementation, maintenance, and operational continuity Track system defects, service requests, and change requests Review logs, monitor system performance, and ensure SLA adherence Governance, Reporting & Documentation Prepare project reports, presentations, and management updates Support change management initiatives and process improvements Ensure compliance with IT governance, policies, and standards Continuous Improvement Identify and implement enhancements to systems, processes, and user experience Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent Minimum 4 years of hands-on IT Project Management experience Proven experience delivering large-scale IT application projects Strong experience managing system integrators / major vendors (e.g., large consulting or SI firms) Experience across full project lifecycle – implementation, deployment, and support Background in public sector / government projects highly preferred Key Skills & Attributes Strong command of IT project delivery and application systems Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Proactive, accountable, and able to operate independently Strong planning, risk management, and execution capabilities Confident communicator with solid presentation skills Familiar with system analysis/design and IT service delivery environments PMP, CITPM, or equivalent certifications are advantageous If you’re experienced in managing large-scale IT application projects and thrive in a vendor-driven delivery environment, we’d love to hear from you.
