Consumables Inventory Associate

BMarko Structures is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Consumables Inventory Associate to support our modular manufacturing operations. In this role, you will ensure that our production teams have the tools, PPE, and consumable materials they need to operate safely and efficiently. This is not just an inventory role—you are a critical partner to production, directly impacting uptime, cost control, and jobsite safety. Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Consumables Management - Procurement: Monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders for high-usage consumables (e.g., PPE, paint supplies, tools, welding gases). - - Vendor Coordination: Partner with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, resolve discrepancies, and maintain cost accuracy. - - Receiving & Organization: Receive, inspect, and organize inventory using a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methodology to ensure proper material rotation and minimize waste. - Auditing & Reporting - Cycle Counts: Perform routine physical inventory counts to ensure alignment between physical stock and system records. - - Usage Tracking: Monitor consumption trends and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency. - - Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material distribution by department and project. - Required Qualifications & Skills - Experience: 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or tool room management—preferably in a manufacturing environment. - - Organization: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - - Technical Skills: Experience with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in spreadsheets. - - Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs regularly. - - Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization. - Why This Role Matters In a fast-paced modular manufacturing environment, missing or delayed materials can halt production.
