We apply our unique expertise across strategic communications, public affairs, research, and digital marketing to create sophisticated and customized strategies that make change possible for both American and European clients. - Starting Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 - - Location: Expectation to work from DC, New York, Chicago, SF or LA offices at least 3 days a week - The Impact You Will Make Bully Pulpit International (BPI) is seeking a full time Senior Producer to join our growing Creative team. The Senior Producer at BPI plays a crucial role in bringing our clients' stories to life through compelling video and digital content. As a Senior Producer at BPI, you will lead the production of a wide range of projects, from short-form social media videos to broadcast-quality commercials and beyond. This role requires a strategic thinker with production expertise, a deep understanding of the digital landscape, and a passion for creating impactful content that drives results. Responsibilities - Oversee Production Execution: Manage all aspects of video and digital production, from concept development and scriptwriting to pre-production planning, on-set execution, post-production, and delivery. - - Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and transparency. Negotiate with vendors and manage resources efficiently. - - Bidding & Financial Tracking: Own the development of detailed production estimates and bid packages, maintain a single source of truth for budgets, and track costs throughout the lifecycle of a project. Manage change orders and contingency usage, ensuring financial accuracy and clear documentation. - - Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with a network of trusted vendors, including directors, cinematographers, editors, animators, and other production professionals. - - Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including creative, studio, account, and media, to ensure seamless execution and integration of video and digital content across all platforms. - - Quality Control: Maintain high standards for creative excellence and ensure all deliverables meet BPI's quality standards and client expectations. - - Project Management: Responsible for leading multiple integrated projects, ensuring stakeholders are informed and projects are completed on time and within budget. - - Workflow & Process Management: Follow and help maintain structured workflows across estimating, approvals, file management, and delivery to ensure consistency and clarity across projects. - - Risk & Compliance Awareness: Identify potential risks related to budget, timelines, legal, and execution, and ensure all productions adhere to necessary releases, licensing, and usage rights requirements. - - Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in video production, digital content, and emerging technologies to ensure BPI remains at the forefront of innovation. - - 5–7 years of experience as a Producer in a fast-paced agency, production company, or relevant in-house environment. - - Extensive experience producing a variety of video content, including commercials, social media videos, and digital ads. - - Proven track record of successfully managing complex productions, from concept to delivery, on time and within budget. - - Strong understanding of budgeting, estimating, and financial tracking across multiple projects. - - Strong understanding of the political and/or public affairs landscape (preferred, but not required). - - Exceptional communication skills. - - Deep understanding of the production process, including pre-production, on-set execution, and post-production. - - Expertise in budget management and vendor negotiation. - - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage projects with minimal supervision. - - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively under pressure. - BPI offers a wide range of benefits to U.S.-based employees, including 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) program with employer match up to 4%, generous time off for vacation, $50 monthly phone reimbursement, unlimited sick time, and 16 weeks of paid leave for new parents.
