Safe Harbors Business Travel is a TMC providing businesses of all sizes with full-service travel coordination. We book air, hotels, and rental cars as well as help business owners and executives book meetings, retreats, incentive travel, and other events. We specialize in NGO/humanitarian travel.   We make work fun. Together, we're redefining corporate travel management by making our client a hero.   We’re looking for an experienced corporate international travel agent to join our team and become a crucial element in our continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of corporate travel experience and be familiar with booking heavy international travel. We are looking for a qualified agent that is proficient in Sabre. The right individual will be motivated, a self-starter, and someone looking to advance their career in this industry. Experience with NGO/humanitarian travel is a plus. We are a fast paced, energetic, and quickly growing company, but we also like to enjoy our days and make work fun!   Responsibilities: - Proven expertise in creating complex travel arrangements, including air, hotel, and ground transportation.  - - Understanding of travel requirements, i.e., visas, passports, and immunization requirements; excellent communication skills and follow-through required to advise clients of those requirements.  - - Strong working knowledge and understanding all pricing rules, exchange transactions, and procedures.  - - NGO/Humanitarian experience is a plus - - Operate with discretion within well-defined policy and regular managerial review.  - - Utilize preferred vendors to maximize profit and ensure compliance with the clients’ travel policy.  - - Follows company procedures, guidelines, and standards in building PNRs, utilization of tools, productivity, the accuracy of work, and attendance.  - - Attends staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in the travel industry and office procedures.  - - Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.  - - Adheres to standards in delivering customer service, including telephone etiquette, and follows prescribed customer service escalation procedures.  -   - Prior international corporate travel experience is required, 5 years Sabre experience is preferred  - - Minimum 5 years demonstrated successful consultant experience within the travel industry  - - Fantastic organizational and time management skills  -   In addition to a great work environment, Safe Harbors offers a comprehensive range of benefits designed to fit your needs.    Here's what we offer: - Comprehensive, Industry-leading Training - - Employer-Sponsored Medical and Dental Insurance with Employee Contribution - - Fully-Funded Life Insurance (1x salary) & LTD (Long-Term Disability Insurance) - - Optional Employee-Paid Vision Insurance and STD (Short-Term Disability Insurance) - - 401k (up to 4% Company Match) - - Paid Time Off - - Rewards for Service -   Equal Opportunity & E-Verify Statement WorldVia is an equal opportunity employer.
