Position: Finance Manager
Business Unit: Business Support Function
Primary duties and responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
Oversee Financial Statements and management reports and compilation with full disclosure
Monitoring and overseeing the daily operation of Account Payable, Account Receivable, Fixed Asset, General Accounting and Taxes.
Ensure the business transactions and results are recorded, reported and forecast with integrity, transparency and in a timely manner
Ensure and manage month end/ quarter end/ year end closing process, in close collaboration with Regional HQ support.
Ensure compliance with accounting rules, and contribute to achieving company goals through effective financial management
Analyses the financial performance results and recommends action to be taken to improve business performance
Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to review financial data and provide information for financial reporting
To provide effective and efficient accounting and financial control, credit, risk management are consistent with group standards and policy.
Works with auditing firm, corporate secretary and other partners to comply with board and company governance requirements.
Liaise with customer, supplier, external auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors, banks, The Revenue Department (RD) and Department of Business Development (DBD). Coordinate with the company shareholder.
Responsible for collating and maintaining HQ accounting processes to always ensure controls and adequate support.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Partner with business units in the preparation and management of budget and provide trend analysis for Thailand
Participates as an effective business partner to improve financial performance of the company through working closely with senior management, department heads and project teams in initiatives and actions.
Tax Compliance:
Review and ensure correctness of taxation report such as VAT, Withholding Tax, corporate income tax, and other taxes
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
To be accountable for compliance with the Group and external standards in the provision of financial information
To perform cash management
Control and oversee payment transactions and related tasks both domestic and international
Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring and forecasting cash flow
Manage and Review cash facility with local bank and treasury
To coordinate and prepare documents and/or application in relating to Bank
Job Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance or a similar major related field
Must have at least 7 years’ experience in accounting or finance or tax accounting
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and Microsoft Excel
Proficiency spoken and written in English.
Proactive and reliable personality
Strong Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Require basic knowledge in tax compliance (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and address customer inquiries effectively.
Well-organized, Can-do & will-do attitude, detail-oriented, strong problem solving, analytical, communication skills and work well under pressure
