The team you will be part of
The Brand Management Team is the trusted partner for leading brands across Southeast Asia in strategic planning and driving sustainable online business growth. By analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and aligning with our clients' commercial objectives, the team develops and executes data-backed strategies that maximize conversion and revenue. With a strong grasp of category dynamics and platform trends, and driving collaboration and coordination across other functions internally, Brand Management plays a key role in shaping long-term brand success in the digital commerce space.
The part you will play
As the Category Manager, you will be responsible for driving the top-line & Bottomline growth of our business in the Philippines. This includes building and mentoring key account managers, liaising closely and developing ambitious plans with top brand/seller partners and platforms, establishing processes to ensure e-commerce success for brand and seller partners, conducting regular analyses to understand the impact of category and brand decisions on performance, and implementing regional or local initiatives to drive growth
As a Category Manager you will take charge of
- Own the GMV and GP1 targets for the assigned brand portfolio, driving performance through client success, new value-added initiatives, and operational excellence

- Lead & drive commercial excellence projects aimed at increasing quality of service delivered through process optimization & relevant initiatives

- Ensure that all brand and store KPIs are met. Analyze sales performance and advise clients on key levers for growth and take lead in the execution plan

- Be a champion in inventory forecast and planning, drive efficiency through accurate demand forecasts to optimize business performance with right stock availability and assortment

- Be a custodian of PO planning and issuance, Fill rates, Safety stock cover and Stock on hand metrics are effectively managed and optimized

- Ensure pricing competitiveness, innovative promotional schemes and effective merchandising are in place with consumer centric thinking at the forefront.

- Lead a team of KAMs to deliver excellent client experiences through upskilling, knowledge transfer, and continuous capability building

- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Operations, CX, Graphic Design & Merchandising, Finance, Social Commerce) to optimize quality of service delivered

- Maintain close relationships with external stakeholders, brands’ leadership and ecommerce platforms. Interact daily with partners to ensure timely and effective implementation of strategy.

What we are looking for - the ideal profile
- Fluent in English

- Minimum of 7-10 years working experience in ecommerce, either working with ecommerce platforms (in category management or brand partnership management), or heading ecommerce in a leading brand, or a senior commercial role in an ecommerce enabler / distributor

- Experience with retail business & category management is needed

- Strong track record of high-level negotiations with partners and successful internal/external relationship management
