Job Description
PT Karangmas Sejahtera Bali is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Assistant Manager to support the legal department in managing the company's legal affairs. The successful candidate will responsible in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, permit and licensing through OSS (Online Single Submission) and handling government relations, ensuring compliance with applicable Indonesian laws and internal policies.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and finalize commercial contracts in accordance with business requirements and internal policies (including pricing, scope, service levels, payment terms, liability, and termination), as well as monitor key contract dates (effective date, renewal/expiry, and notice period) and support contract renewal and amendment processes
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Management) to obtain the necessary inputs and approvals
Manage company registrations, permits, and operational licensing (permit & licensing), including through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, update corporate data, and ensure all licenses remain valid and compliant with applicable regulations
Establish and maintain relationships with relevant government institutions and regulatory bodies, and support coordination processes related to licensing, reporting, inspections, and compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the company's internal policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the Legal Manager or Management from time to time
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law;
Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with exposure to Commercial and Property Law; prior experience in a law firm is preferred;
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in contract drafting/review and corporate legal matters (e.g., corporate governance, corporate documentation), with strong commercial awareness;
High integrity, and sound judgement in assessing and mitigating legal risks;
Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Word;
Disciplined, self-motivated, fast learner and cooperative, able to work under pressure and handle urgent/crisis situations, with high attention to detail and commitment to excellence;
Good communication and interpersonal skills; and
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
